Florals

Thank you for visiting my blog! Today it is my pleasure to participate in this blog hop for the first time. This blog hop is an event by Stefanie Pletscher and Crafty Collaborations. I love the theme “Florals.”

The Card:

A floral birthday card in grays and Highland Heather by Stampin' Up!Using the beautiful flower from the Crane of Fortune stamp set, I stamped it repeatedly with Smoky Slate ink onto a Basic White panel of cardstock (CS). I added Smoky Slate ribbon down the center of the first layer before adhering to the Basic Gray card base. Wanting to focus on the lovely flower and the sentiment, those are the only images I stamped with Highland Heather ink.

I love the way you have created a Smoky Slate background. The Highland Heather stands out beautifully on it.

  2. Love the color combo, and how you added the ribbon. I’ve struggled with how to use that super wide ribbon, thanks for the inspiration!
