Hello, Everyone!! Happy Thursday to you and, welcome to the Thursday Challenge by Create with Connie & Mary. I am so happy to be on the design team and share the Wildly Adorable stamp set with you while meeting this new challenge.
The Challenge:
Just how stinkin’ cute are these Wildly Adorable little ones?! With no further ado, here is…
The Card:
The Wildly Adorable stamp set has images of babies in a bunny, a lion and a bear costume. Obviously, I chose the bunny costume to make this welcome baby card. The layout for this card came from an earlier CreatewithConnieandMary Thursday Challenge Lay-out. You can check out another card I have made from this layout HERE.
The Details:
MEASUREMENTS:
- Smoky Slate Cardstock (CS) – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5 1/2″
- Bumble Bee CS – 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)
- Basic Gray CS – 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- Basic White – 3″ x 3″ and 5″ x 3 3/4″ (inside)
As seen in the photo above, I used BumbleBee 1/4″ Gingham ribbon in place of the thin strip of foil sheet on the previous card I did. I love that the card has a unisex color palette and can be given to a baby boy or baby girl. Have you noticed this generation seems to love gray and green or yellow in the nursery?
Coloring:
I colored the Wildly Adorable Bunny with the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs: Petal Pink (ears, skin, and dark on the pads on the feet), Smoky Slate (costume), Crumb Cake (the hair).
Furthermore, I added my final touch on the card front: a couple of Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels. And, of course, I added a greeting to the inside of the card, as seen below.
