Hello, and thank you for stopping by today. I have a straightforward card to show you that also showcases the new Stampin’ Up! 2023-2025 In-Colors in a card of thanks. With no further ado, here is
The Card:
Wanting to showcase the new In-Colors and needing to make Thank-you cards, I decided to “kill two birds with one stone.” The base of the card is the new Pebbled Path cardstock (CS) that matches both the center horizontal piece of designer series paper (DSP) and the 3/8″ textured ribbon.
Truthfully, when I first saw the new In-Colors in a pdf on the computer, I was not a fan. After having them and working with them, I fall more in love with them every day! I am hosting an In-Color monthly “share” so you can get all the new In-Color CS, Ink pads, Blends Combo packs, and a sampling of the ribbons, dots, and DSP for $55/month for five months. You will receive one In-Color each month. Please let me know if you are interested in joining the group by emailing me (by clicking on the “Contact Me” link in the sidebar under my picture.
In-Color Thanks Details:
The card has only one item stamped and the same item punched. Everything else is cutting and gluing paper. So, the ‘thank-you’ is stamped on Basic White CS using Copper Clay ink. Next, it is punched with the Decorative Circle punch, and dimensionals placed on the back and set aside.
The Measurements:
- The Base – Pebbled Path CS – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score and fold at 4 1/4″
- Layer 1 – Boho Blue CS – 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Layer 2 – Wild Wheat CS – 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Layer 3 – Basic White CS – 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Layer 4 – 2023-2025 In-Color DSP – 3″ x 1″ – (5) from one pattern, cut one each of the five colors.
- Inside Layer – Basic White CS – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Assembly:
- Glue Layer 2 to Layer 1.
- Arrange Layer 4 onto Layer 3, as shown, then glue them into place. Adhere to Layer 2.
- Add a knotted piece of ribbon around the panel of Layers 1,2,3, & 4. Adhere this unit to the card front.
- Find your stamped, punched sentiment and add it over the ribbon, as shown.
- Glue the inside layer and decorate as desired.
An Up-Close Look:
Here is an up-close photo of my In-Color thanks card. This is a great card to make if you need many thank you cards! Get everything cut, then sit down and glue. They come together quickly.
