Welcome to the Create with Connie & Mary Thursday Challenge. This week I have created a whimsical Moose Christmas card for the color challenge. He is all bundled up and adorable!
The Challenge:
The Moose Card:
Just how stinkin’ cute is this moose who is all bundled up!?! This card is for the crafter who enjoys coloring with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cutting, and I think this moose deserves all the attention. I used Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Mint Macaron, and a touch of Petal Pink (in the mouth and ears) Stampin’ Blends Markers to color this moose. Then, I cut him out with my paper Snips before hanging the Mint Macaron wreath, die-cut with the Country Wreaths dies, over his antler. Finally, I dimensioned him onto the largest Stylish Shapes circle.
An Up-close Look at the Moose:
More Details:
I used a Mint Macaron card base, then I die-cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Poppy Parade cardstock (CS) with the background die found in the Candy Cane dies. I cut a smaller Stylish Shapes circle, stamped Merry Christmas from the Celebrate with Tags stamp set in Poppy Parade ink, and added the three Mint Macaron Solid Faceted Gems.
The Inside:
Finally, the inside Petal Pink CS was layered onto a panel of Poppy Parade CS, stamped with Poppy Parade with two strips of Poppy Parade to emulate the card front. The strips measure 5″ x 1/8″ and 5″ x 3/8″. I hope you like my whimsical Moose card and that you will click this link to see what the other design team members have done to meet this color challenge. Thanks for stopping by!
