Welcome to the Create Thursday Challenge by Create With Connie & Mary. Today we have a rather simple challenge. It is a minimalist card. I made a ‘Hello, Friend’ card to meet the challenge.

Okay, let me know what you really think of this card. Although I have some trouble, as we all probably do, I really do like this “minimal” card. I think I was able to get color, texture, and dimension on this card.
Hello Friend:
I love the detail that the Stitched Greenery die gives to the Pear Pizzazz cardstock. Mounting this on an Evening Evergreen card base, I think, makes it pop! Then, I added a pop of color to draw the eye down to the sentiment that I found in the Sweet As A Peach stamp set.
Finishing Touch:
In this up-close photo, you can see that I used Poppy Parade for the pop of color with a 1/4″ piece of cardstock and the ink for the sentiment. I added a solitary Rhinestone Basic Jewel at the final touch to this card. If you find yourself needing a quick, easy card to send a hello to a friend, this is the card for you!
