Hello, Stampers! Thank you for hopping along with us today! I know everyone is so busy with their Christmas preparations. Merry Christmas to each and every one of you!! Our theme for today’s blog hop is Glimmer, Shimmer, and Shine. I think this card meets that goal.
THE CARD
Everyone seems to like “bling” and this silver glimmer paper does the trick! The gorgeous silver glimmery Eifel Tower seems so romantic that I have designed this card as my Valentine to my husband this year. The cherry blossom spray is a perfect fit to wrap the tower in beauty and romance. Of course, everyone knows that Amore means “Love.” As you can see, the card front is only 3 1/2″ instead of the standard 4 1/4″. I wanted the scripty-shine to show from the designer series paper (DSP) I used. Just a 1″ strip of this silver embossed paper is all that is needed to add the perfect touch to this card.
THE INSIDE
I wanted to use the DSP along the right border of the card and have it show when the card was closed too so the card base was cut 7 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ then scored at 4 1/4″. Furthermore, I had to adjust the inside Whisper White Panel to 3 1/4″ x 4″. Of course, I stamped this first and glued it inside the card then added the 1″ strip of DSP over-lapping it a bit.
TIP:
Line the three stamps, used for the inside sentiment, up on your grid pad then use a “D” block to pick them all up. Stamp them on the grid paper first to assure alignment then stamp onto the inside panel. Alternatetively, the Stamparatus could be used.
Up Close Bling:
Up close you can see the dazzle of the silver glimmer paper and the shine of the new champagn rhinestone jewels. What I had difficulty showing is the silver embossed wording on the DSP that add such a nice touch and brings everything together.
IN CLOSING
In my most humble opinion, the Parisain Blossoms Sutie is a must-have! It can be purchased beginning January 3, 2020, individually or as (2) bundles or as an entire Suite. Please shop below by simply clicking on the icon of the product you want. I appreciate your business!
