Welcome to another monthly Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop! We celebrate “Quick & Easy Cards aka Summertime, and the stamping is easy.” Here is my card using the super easy Tea Boutique notecards and envelopes.
The Card:
To make cardmaking quick, Stampin’ Up! offers packages of pre-scored cards and envelopes. Since it is summertime, I chose the bright color of Sweet Sorbet for my flowers and card front. So, without taking time to cut, score and fold a card base and add designer paper to it, I simply grabbed a card from this Tea Boutique pack of cards and envelopes.
Quick Card Details:
I stamped the triple flower image from the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set using Basic Gray ink onto a 3″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I started by coloring the flower centers with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, then colored the flower petals with Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Combo and the leaves/stems with the Old Olive combo. Once the coloring was finished, I glued it to an Olive Green panel measuring 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″. Finally, I added the ribbon and gold pearl embellishments before dimensioning it onto the card front. How do you like that for quick and easy?
It all coordinates:
Please notice how the envelope is already decorated too! I love the coordinated look! Have you tried these Tea Boutique notecards and envelopes from the Annual Catalog? If not, give them a try. I think you will like them. Now it is time to hop along with the other talented demonstrators in the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. Click on the next name on the list to go to the next blog. Thank you for stopping by. I hope to see you soon again.
