Welcome to the Thursday Color Challenge by Create with Connie & Mary. I am using the Hello Beautiful bundle for my card today, including the Beautiful Shapes dies.
The Challenge:
The Card:
I started using the Abstract Beauty designer series paper for the first panel on the Thick Basic White card base. The Hello Beautiful bundle is the choice for this week’s card. I love the Beautiful Shapes dies from which I made the three boxes on the card, hoping to offer you a versatile option. Using the double diamond, I die-cut six Just Jade diamonds and three Pear Pizzazz diamonds, arranging them, as shown onto a scrap of Basic White scrap. Then I cut them out and added a dimensional to the back.
More Details:
I love how the diamond-made boxes look three-dimensional! I popped them up onto Calypso Coral hexagon shape that I first embossed with the Splatters 3-D embossing folder. Finally, I glued the hexagon overlapping the 3/4″ strip of Calypso Coral on which I had stamped the sentiment and underscore with Just Jade ink. I added three of the Just Jade Hexagons as the finishing touch.
Up-Close:
The details better show the embossed hexagon shape and the assembly of the three squares. As can be seen, I glued the triangles to a scrap of Basic White cardstock that I saved then snipped around them before dimensioning them to the hexagon.
Now, if you want to see what the other talented demonstrators made in answer to this challenge, you can see the cards HERE.

I really love this idea. So very creative. I was wondering if you used a diamond punch or die to make the pieces and if so, is it a SU or other manufacturer? Thanks for sharing your creativity
Thank you for asking, Cookie. I used the diamond dies found in Stampin’ Up’s Beautiful Shapes Dies. I’m glad you liked the card. Give it a try. It is extremely easy to do.
