Welcome to the July edition of the Maui Trip Achiever’s Blog Hop! If you started here, be sure you click on the links at the bottom of the page to see what other demonstrators have created to inspire you. My Medallion Christmas card today uses items from the annual catalog as well as the July-December Mini catalog that goes live on August 3rd.
The Card:
This card is easy to assemble when all the pieces are die-cut and ready. I used the Encircled in Beauty dies from the annual catalog. I used the largest detailed die surrounded by the border die of the same shape for the bottom layer of Real Red.
More Details:
On top of the Real Red layer, I added a Garden Green layer cut with the fourth largest Layering Circle die. Next is glued the gold foil layer that is die-cut with the second-largest detailed die. Following is layer of Garden Green die-cut with the second smallest detailed die. Basic White is then die-cut with the smallest detailed die and popped up in the center of the medallion with Dimensionals.
An Up-Close Look at the Medallion Christmas card:
Finally, in the center of the medallion, I dimensioned a gold foil star punched with the Starlit Punch found in the July-December mini catalog. The sentiment, from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set, is stamped in Real Red ink. Then, after the card was photographed and edited, I decided to add a solitary Red Rhinestone jewel to the left bottom of the card between the medallion and the sentiment. I hope you can visualize that.
Although non-traditional, I like the striking medallion on this Christmas card. Now it is time for you to hop along to the next blog by clicking on the link below. Thank you for visiting my blog today!
