Hello, and welcome to my blog. I have the need for a card to congratulate friends who are becoming grandparents. The ‘Treasures of Life’ stamp set is the perfect stamp set to accomplish this task.
The Card
I chose to do a simple, black and white card. It is quick and easy, using a four-inch square piece of the True Love designer series paper from the 2021 January-June mini catalog as my first layer. I love the imagery in the Treasures of Life stamp set. Like it is said, an image is worth a thousand words and, I think this set fits that bill.
Details
How precious is that new grandmother holding the tiny new life in her arms! I stamped the focal panel on the largest scallop Layering Square, die-cut from white cardstock, with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I layered this onto a 3 1/2″ square of Basic Black cardstock and stamped the sentiment near the bottom of the card base.
Up-close
A knotted piece of Glittered Organdy Ribbon pulled the card together.
