Hello Stampers!
I must say that I certainly have enjoyed the second release of Sale-A-Bration every bit as much as the first. Today I want to show you a very simple card using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and the All Adorned, second release, stamp set. The lay-out idea came from Deb Snyder (Goshen, Indiana) on an amazing swap card I received from her. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of it to share yet but, when I take one, I will share it with you on another post.
ABOUT THE CARD
The design of this card front is totally versatile. Therefore, it can easily be used for a Thank-You, a Thinking of You, even a masculine birthday card.
I started to make the card by using the largest and the smallest of the set of four Rectangle Stitched framelits to cut the Painted Seasons designer series paper. Next, these were adhered to the Early Espresso card base with liquid glue as shown in the photo. Continuing on, the bigger of the two medallion stamps was stamped with Early Espresso ink onto a 2″ square piece of Whisper White card stock. Carefully, I lined up the smaller, more solid looking medallion (so the dots would fit into the circles) and stamped the image with Poppy Parade ink. Finally, after adding a clear rhinestone jewel to the center, I layered this piece onto a 2-1/8″ square piece of Early Espresso card stock and used dimensionals to pop it up, in the diamond position, onto the center of the large stitched rectangle layer.
A Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel is adhered inside the card waiting for a sentiment and note so it can be mailed out.
