Mardi Gras Birthday Music

The Card

I used the ‘Music From The Heart’ stamp set.  This set was designed by Dawn Olchefske when she hit her ONE MILLION DOLLARS in career Stampin’ Up! sales!  How amazing is that!?!  It is one of my favorite stamp sets (of which I have many) in the catalog because of its versatility and lightheartedness.  It is a stamp set that lends itself well to a black, white, with a pop of red color scheme but, today I am using Mardi Gras colors.  The reason is two-fold. First, I love the color purple and March is my birthday month.  Second, Stampin’ Up! is having a new event called Backstage for their demonstrator leaders in August, and it will take place in New Orleans.  So, now you can understand.

An Up-close Look
