Hello and welcome to the Monthly Stamper’s Dozen Blog Hop! This month, we are to make a card expressing Gratitude. I hope you get all the inspiration you are hoping for! My card is quick and easy to make using the Wintery Tree Tops stamp set and coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP)
The Card:
I am grateful that a card does not have to be time-intensive or use a barrage of different products to be beautiful, thanks mainly to Stampin’ Up!’s coordination of products and DSP. I used only one die, one ink color, 1/6 sheet of DSP, two colors of CS, and two embellishments.
The Details:
I used Misty Moonlight cardstock (CS) for the base. Then, I cut two layers of Gray Granite at 5 1/4″ x 4″. One is for the inside. The DSP was cut at 4″ x 6″ and then shortened to 4 x 5 1/4″ by taking 1/4″ off the bottom and 1/2″ off the top. The picture above shows what I did with the 1/4″ strip, adding it to the bottom of the inside layer. I layered the whole panel of DSP to the second panel of Gray Granite and dimensioned it onto the base after wrapping the blue Natural Tones Linen Thread around the lower part. I used Night of Navy and Gray Granite CS to die-cut two deckled Circles with the #4 (from the center) die, then Stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink.
Up-Close :
Here is an up-close picture of the gratitude sentiment I opted to use. You can follow along on the hop by clicking on a link below. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and share lots of Gratitude with your family.
