Mixing It Up

The Card

I really mixed things up today to come up with this bright, cheery Thank You card.  I mixed stamp sets and dies and the annual catalog with the Jan-June Mini catalog.

The Details

I will share how I made this card.  Using Daffodil Delight card stock as the 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ card base, I used the Best Dressed DSP cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″ for my WOW factor.  I layered the DSP onto a Blackberry Bliss layer measuring 1/8″ bigger than the DSP.  I paired the Stitched Rectangles with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to accent the Sale-A-Bration sentiment that I stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.  I punched some Old Olive leaves with the Leaf Punch and a Mossy Meadow sprig with the Sprig punch, both from the annual catalog. The sentiment on Whisper White was added to the card with dimensionals before adding the finishing touches of Nobel Peacock rhinestone embellishments.

The Inside

As can be seen in this photo, I stamped the two flower images from Dressed to Impress with Blackberry Bliss and added the splotched color with Daffodil Delight to pull the colors to the inside of this card yet, leaving plenty of room to write a sweet note.

Up Close

Here you can see the stunning Nobel Peacock Rhinestone Jewels accenting and drawing your eyes to the sentiment.  I think the punched leaves add the perfect touch.  What do you think?
