Thank you for joining me today! Surely you have seen the ‘From My Heart Suite’ in the Stampin’ Up! January-June Mini Catalog. (Mini Catalog) It is the very first suite offered after the bundle index. Today I am sharing a card that I designed for a swap. Most of the time, when I have to make multiples of a card, I want them to be quick and easy. This suite enables just that. The ‘Heartfelt Bundle’ in this suite has a 13-piece photopolymer stamp set and two punches. You read that correctly! We now have a scalloped-heart punch and a slightly smaller regular heart punch that can be used independently or layered one atop the other. Punches, in general, make preparing for a card quick and easy.
The Card:
As you can see, this card is meant to be a Valentine’s Day card but could easily be used to brighten a loved one’s day anytime. I know my grandchildren love to get mail, any mail so, why not send them this message? The card base is a standard sized greeting card: 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored and folded at 5 1/2.”

This photo shows that I stamped the sentiment with Real Red ink and the dotted border around it with Basic Black ink. Then I punched out the Whisper White heart with the smaller heart punch. Instead of layering this on another punched heart, I opted to dimensional it onto a Real Red heart-shaped doily, also found in this suite of products. And, look at the bling of the faceted gem! Don’t you love it when everything coordinates!?!
From The Heart
Making this card, I took full advantage of the designer series paper, the doilies, and the ‘From My Heart Faceted Gems.’ This style of card would be an ideal card to do for a whole classroom of kids or just one or two for teachers. Either way, the From My Heart Suite includes everything you need to create to your heart’s content for Valentine’s Day.
Oh my, I failed to mention that there are Heart-shaped foil baking tins available too! For you bakers out there, these tins are the bomb! The tins come 10 to a package, have clear, high-domed lids that one can decorate with heart doilies or punched hearts.
The Same But Different
Can you see how easy it is to alter a card by only using different designer series paper (DSP) on it? This package of DSP is 12″ x 12″ and is double-sided with a different design on each side. Again, everything coordinates. That coordination of products, my friends, is what made it possible for me to release my creativity!
