Today we have a twofer! I have two Christmastime Birthday cards using the limited time offered Christmastime Is Here Suite of products. I have gotten inspiration from two very talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. One is a demonstrator from Australia, Linda Dalke, and the other is Lauren Alarid, a 2019 Artisan Design Team member from California.
The Cards
This card, inspired by Linda, uses the Christmastime Is Here Suite in an unconventional way, as a birthday card instead of a Christmas card. I love the simplistic beauty of this card that has an understated elegance. Linda shared a video on the technique to make this card HERE. I love the versatility of this amazing suite! As we know, the holidays are not the only thing happening over the holidays: there are Christmastime birthdays too!
I used Highland Heather and Pear Pizzazz ink on my image that was gold embossed onto a Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape.
Another Card
Again in this card, inspired by Lauren, I made a Christmastime birthday card instead of a Christmas card. The card was surprisingly easy to put together. Since this floral spray does not have a matching die, I called upon my Scan ‘n’ Cut to do the fussy cutting while I gold embossed several of the berry images on the Pretty Peacock background and die-cut the lattice. Presto! Gluing, adding dimensionals, a little bling, and the card is finished!

You have to love the gold glitz of the specialty designer series paper (DSP)! And, it is orderable on its own! In my humble opinion, everyone needs this DSP!
I hope that you have enjoyed this week of ideas for using the Christmastime Is Here Suite. Thank you for taking the time to come to my blog. If you like what you see, please share my blog address with your friends!
