Stampers Dozen Blog Hop – Celebrating 5 Years

This month we, the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop group, are celebrating our 5th Anniversary!!  Hence, the theme this month is Celebrating 5 Years.  It is with that theme in mind that I made y’all a card…THANK YOU for Hopping along with us every month for the past five years!!  Simply put, if not for YOU, there would be no US.  So, again, THANK YOU!

The Card

Choosing a color was easy!  Since the Celebrating 5 Years graphic was done in Poppy Parade, it was the clear choice for me.  I wanted to put the “thank you” as big and as bold as I could therefore chose Broadway Lights to do so.  As you can see, our clear rhinestone jewels were added to each light hole in the sign.  I love that the new small rhinestone jewels fit perfectly!

The News

In this side view of your card, you are better able to see that the happy, jumping frog was “fussy cut” after being stamped on Old Olive designer paper.  Now, for all of you who cringe at “fussy cutting”, I have GREAT NEWS for you!  On March 1st, you will be able to purchase FRAMELITS for these little frogs!! (for the Lasting Lily and others too!) So, keep your eyes open for that.  Notice too, this little guy is adhered with dimensionals because he is so excited he is about to leap off the page.

In this photo you can see that the ‘thank you’ has been enhanced with clear Wink of Stella.  It is always a challenge to photograph cards to try to convey the full effect.  However, there is nothing quite like holding a hand crafted card in your hands and being able to see the details and the love poured into it.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate our fifth year of posting monthly cards to bring inspiration to those who visit, we are also looking forward to the next five years.  We hope you will continue to hop along with us!  If you have someone you want to send a very special thank you note to, here are the supplies needed to make this card.
