Welcome to another Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!
So glad you are here!! As you may have already seen, this month we were given a color challenge. Here are the colors:
Here is my card:
What I used:
I decided to use the thinlits in this month’s Snowflake Showcase special. As you know, these two stamp sets and the thinlits are available for purchase THIS MONTH ONLY. Don’t miss out on this Snowflake Showcase special! These are lovely sets and the thinlits work with BOTH sets! Order them today by clicking on the icon which will take you to my on-line store.
How I did it:
As you can see, I embossed the Powder Pink cardstock with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder. Then, after die cutting several snowflakes in varying sizes out of the silver foil sheet, I adhered them to the card front. This was made easy by picking up liquid glue that I squeezed onto my silicone craft sheet, with a sponge, and dabbing it onto the backs of the snowflakes. After arranging the snowflakes, allowing several to hang off the Powder Pink panel, I turned the panel over and cut the excess off with my Paper Snips so the snowflakes would be flush with the cardstock.
Next, the Spirited Snowmen sentiments seemed to work just right for this card. Now, you may be wondering how I got the Merry Merlot panel behind the sentiment that was punched with the Christmas Traditions punch. Let me give you a TIP: punch Merry Merlot cardstock with the Pretty Label punch. When you layer the punched sentiment in the center of this, you will find it fits perfectly! Now, just snip off both sides of the Merry Merlot to create the border panel. How do you like that!?!?!
The inside of the card:
Again I used the Spirited Snowmen stamp set. I simply random stamped some snowflakes using Powder Pink ink and added the sentiment in Merry Merlot.
I encourage you to order the November special and, when you order it from me, I will send you a FREE TUTORIAL PDF of 15 cards that can be made with the stamp set you purchased! Buy both sets and get TWO FREE TUTORIALS! Now is the time…do not delay…November will have come and gone before we know it!! Click any of the icons in this blog to order.
