Fun with Perforating Blade on Trimmer

 Hello Stampers!
I had a blast this past weekend! ALL my kids were home along with our two granddaughters. The house was very alive! It is my daughter’s birthday today so we did a lot of celebrating over the weekend. Here is the card I made for her. Understand that she is in nursing school…hence the band-aid and nurse card. The FUN part of this card is on the inside!

If you look closely, you will see that there are two perforated lines on the top and bottom of this 2-1/2″ x 3-1/3″ piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I used the new perforating blade on the rotary attachment of our trimmer to perf at 3/8″ on top and bottom. I added Sticky Strip to three sides and put a pull tab (which next time would say LIFT) on the right side then adhered to the inside of the card. Of course, when she pulled the tab up, the card stock tore along the perforated line and exposed the money inside.

Here is a visual for those of you who like that.
Anyway, just thought it was a fun way to give someone some cash for their birthday. Give it a try!!
Happy Stampin’!
Judy
