Hi Stampers!
WOW! We had a great Group Gathering of the South Texas Big Shots last night! The demonstrations were awesome. We saw a fancy fold card, a project using fabric and a demonstration on how to organize your stamp sets. Besides all this, several of us participated in the SINGLE LAYER swap challenge. I LOVE single layer cards because they are VERY challenging and are SO beautiful in the end. I will be posting all the single layer cards over the next several days. Check back to see them all. And, don’t forget to add your comments!
I will show my swap card first. It was made using the masking technique (to the hilt), a little sponging and a little spritzing, all on Shimmery White card stock. Of course the stamp sets used were Creative Elements and Party This Way.
The next card was designed by Brenda Heinold. She used River Rock card stock, stamped with Versamark and embossed along the bottom with the heart adorning accent embossing folder. The center accent was achieved by first stamping the image with Versamark and Night of Navy ink, applying Heat and Stick powder, heating to activate and then covering with Dazzling Diamond glitter. The stamp set used is Fresh Vintage from Sale-a-bration. It is SO pretty in real life!!

That is all for today. I hope you will challenge yourself to use a few different techniques to design a single layer card. No ribbon, no layers. If you do, please send them to me and I will post them to my blog!
Happy Stampin’!
Judy
